Ben Haydon brings a blend of experience from both the public and private sectors, with a strong focus on community engagement and strategic relations. Most recently, Ben served as the Manager of Public Relations and Community Engagement at Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, where he successfully connected communities across the state—from Paducah to Pikeville.

Ben's career began in the Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, setting the stage for his transition to Commonwealth Alliances as the Director of Client Relations. In this role, he leverages his background in public affairs, having held positions at both local and state levels. His tenure as Director of Business Development at the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers further expanded his expertise, deepening his understanding of Kentucky's diverse manufacturing sector.

A proud graduate of the University of Kentucky, Ben holds a degree in Community Communications and Leadership Development. Born and raised in Springfield, KY, he now resides in the Kenwick neighborhood of Lexington.

Beyond his professional life, Ben is deeply committed to civic engagement and serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, including the Living Arts and Science Center, Leadership Lexington Alumni Association, LexArts, Leadership KY Alumni, and the Louisville Ballet Advisory Board. When he's not working or volunteering, Ben enjoys riding his bike around town, catching up with friends at local happy hours, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
